The invention consists of a container that allows a set of stacked or grouped products to be supported and retained by a series of strips arranged in different positions, wrapping said set of products, thereby saving a large amount of material in the container, over 50 %, in a more economical manufacturing process than existing ones, as well as allowing the content of said container to be observed through the gaps between the strips it comprises.

The field of application of the present invention falls within the sector of assembly and storage using containers, more specifically in the sector of container wrapping or packaging means.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Currently, in the packaging industry, there are a large number of means or products aimed at packaging, packaging or retaining sets of products, in order to be able to store and manipulate said products in a joint and simple way, by a user.

One of the most used containers for packaging products are boxes designed to store tetrabrikes, which are usually grouped in packages of 4, 6, 10 or more products, stacked laterally and frontally, to facilitate their handling.

Normally, these containers consist of boxes, which are usually made of cardboard, that wrap the entire exterior surface of the set of stacked products, said boxes comprising front and side flaps, upper and lower bases, and tabs or tabs that allow the fixation of said parts, normally using adhesives or staples.

Other packaging of these sets of products consists of plastic wrappers that They adjust to the content, applying heat to said plastics, which allows them to deform until they completely or partially cover the set of products, providing a support to which a handle can be attached.

Both boxes and plastic containers allow good retention of the products stored inside, since they cover, practically in their entirety, the exterior surfaces of the set of products, but both means include a series of problems or inconveniences that directly affect the consumer user of the product.

One of these drawbacks consists of the amount of waste generated when the packaging is discarded, whether it is a cardboard box or plastic packaging. This is because said packaging, by having to cover all the surfaces of the set of products, can take up a large volume and its treatment for disposal can cause difficulty or annoyance for the user.

In addition to the large amount of packaging material needed to wrap the products, the manufacturing process of these containers also generates a large amount of waste since this process usually requires large plates die-cut into a single piece or body, which which generates many useless loose pieces.

Another of the drawbacks of these traditional packaging methods is that, by almost completely covering all the surfaces of the products it stores or packages, it covers said products from the outside, preventing the content from being recognized if said containers do not show the information of the packaged product. That is, the containers must include labels that allow the packaged product to be identified, as well as all the information that the products may include in the case of containers, such as tetrabrikes.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

In order to achieve the objectives and avoid the drawbacks mentioned in the previous section, the invention consists of a strap support container suitable for holding and retaining a set of stacked grouped products.

This strap support container comprises a longitudinal strip, configured to wrap a longitudinal perimeter of the set of products and to close, connecting parts longitudinal strip ends; a transverse strap comprising at least one transverse strip, configured to wrap a transverse perimeter of the set of products and to close, connecting end parts of the transverse strip; wherein the product set comprises at least two stacked grouped products; where the longitudinal strip and the at least one transverse strip are made of flexible material; and where the longitudinal strip and the transverse strap are configured to hold together all the products of the set of products by wrapping, respectively, the longitudinal and transverse perimeter of said set, and by connecting their respective end parts.

As it is a wrapper using strips, the longitudinal perimeter or transverse perimeter is understood to be the contour or perimeter obtained when making a section, whether longitudinal or transverse, of the set of products to be packaged.

When it is indicated that the strips or the strap are configured to close, connecting some end parts of them, and that said strips are made of a flexible material, such as paper, cardboard or plastic, it means that the ends of these strips forming a closed contour, such as that of a ring or hoop, in this case the strips adopting the shape of the longitudinal or transverse perimeter when they retain the set of products. That is, in order for the products to be retained, the strips must be adjusted, tight or with a small amount of play, to said products.

The joining of these end parts can be done using an adhesive that rigidly joins said end parts, although other mechanical means such as staples could also be used.

The grouping or stacking of the products of the set of products can be done in rows, columns or rows, depending on the shape and size of said products, with the objective of facilitating the manipulation of the container for the user. It is also possible that such products could be grouped in another way and retained by the longitudinal strip and the brace if the geometry of the product grouping allows it.

With this configuration, the problems mentioned above are solved, since the volume occupied by the strips that wrap the perimeters of the products to be packaged is much smaller than the volume occupied by a box that totally or partially wraps all the surfaces of the products to be packaged. , thus allowing the savings compared to to the material is very high, as well as in the manufacturing process, since it also allows reducing material losses in said process, by comprising a more flexible design that allows its adaptation to common die-cutting machines.

In the same way, thanks to the gaps that are generated between the strips when they are surrounding the lateral or transverse perimeter of the set of products, the retained or packaged product can be seen, without the need to include said information on the strips themselves, reducing with this the economic cost of the packaging.

In one embodiment, the transverse brace comprises at least two or more transverse straps arranged in parallel. Preferably, the two or more transverse strips of the transverse brace are connected by at least one front strip, perpendicular to the transverse strips, which is located in a longitudinal direction when the transverse strips wrap around the transverse perimeter of the set of products. This connection may be due to being part of the same die-cut piece of a sheet of flexible material, such as cardboard, or to different parts of its surfaces being adhered.

The number of transverse strips of the strap, as well as the number of longitudinal strips, depends on the number of products to be packaged or retained by the container, so that the greater the number of rows or columns of products, the more strips will be necessary to retain them. In addition, it also depends on the position of the strips, since they can be placed supporting a surface of a product, or between two edges or corners of two products stacked contiguously, that is, holding and retaining two products with a single strip. .

In one embodiment, each transverse strip comprises two facing sections, symmetrically with respect to the longitudinal strip, said sections connected by ends, where each section is configured to wrap one half of the transverse perimeter of the set of products. Each said section comprises half a length of each transverse strip, that is, half the length of said strips included in the transverse strap, and a front strip joined to outer end parts of said halves of transverse strips.

This embodiment allows us to differentiate two parts of the transverse brace that, depending on the embodiments, can adopt different configurations. For example, each section is an independent element or body, joined by adhesive, or other means of fixation, to the other section through the longitudinal strip or to an additional front strip; that all the strips of each section are independent elements joined by adhesive to the longitudinal strip; or that the two sections are part of the same die-cut sheet in a single piece or body.

In this way, in one embodiment, each of the two sections of the transverse brace is manufactured in a single piece die-cut from a sheet, such as cardboard, said section comprising the halves of the transverse strips separated by gaps, also parallel, and the front strip to which said halves are attached.

In a more specific embodiment, each of the gaps and each transverse strip of each section are equal, that is, they comprise the same width and the same length; wherein the two sections comprising a transverse strap are punched from a substantially rectangular plate, said sections being intertwined, with the halves of the transverse strips of a first of the sections being inserted or fitted into the gaps of a second section. In this way, the savings in terms of material are very significant with respect to the usual procedures, as well as with respect to other embodiments of the invention.

In one embodiment, the front strips of each of the sections, which are attached to the outer ends of the transverse strips, are configured to connect to each other, thereby connecting the end portions of the transverse strips of the transverse brace.

In one embodiment, the inner ends of the transverse strips of the transverse brace of the two sections of the brace support container are joined by a front strip, different from the front strip that joins the outer ends. That is to say, the two sections comprising separate bodies, these can be joined, for example by means of adhesive, through a front strip that connects the inner ends of the transverse strips, into a single body.

In an embodiment different from the previous embodiment, the inner ends of the transverse strips of the transverse brace of the two sections of the brace support container, that is, the opposite ends of the transverse strips that are not joined by a front strip, are joined to the longitudinal strip.

In one embodiment, the longitudinal strip and the transverse brace are comprised in a single die-cut sheet. In this way, it is not necessary for the longitudinal strip and the brace to be joined by means of an adhesive in a lower part of the container so that they are rigidly fixed, but the expense in material in which said strips and braces are manufactured is greater than in the embodiment in which the strips are joined by rigid means, since a lot of material is required.

In one embodiment, the longitudinal strip and the transverse brace comprise two separate independent elements or bodies. That is, they are part of different bodies that are not joined or rigidly glued with adhesives or similar, in any of their parts between them to form the packaging, so that the retention of the packaged products is due to correct position and adjustment of said strip and brace with respect to the products.

In one embodiment, the longitudinal strip and the transverse strut are configured to be rigidly joined to each other by a joining means, such as an adhesive, or a mechanical means such as a clip, slot-slot assembly, at a portion. upper part of the support container, to join the ends of the longitudinal strip and the transverse strap, where these intersect when wrapping the respective perimeters.

In one embodiment, the longitudinal strip and the transverse brace are made of cardboard, since cardboard is a flexible material that adapts to the characteristics and needs indicated in the previous embodiments.

In one embodiment, the products of the stacked grouped product set comprise a rectangular prismatic shape or a cylindrical shape.

DESCRIPTION OF A PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

As can be seen in the figures, the preferred embodiment of the invention consists of a strap support container (1) configured to store or retain products (10), preferably tetrabrike containers with a rectangular prismatic shape, which are arranged forming a stack or group. of products (10) also comprising a rectangular prismatic shape. In other embodiments, the strap support container (1) can also be useful for wrapping cylindrical can containers or other types of regular products.

This strap support container (1) comprises a longitudinal strip (3) that surrounds or wraps a longitudinal perimeter of the set of products (10) and that is closed by being joined by some end parts of said strip (3), in an upper part of said set.

As can be seen in Figure 2, said longitudinal strip (3) surrounds a set of products (10) that comprises six tetrabrikes that are arranged 2x3. In this way, the longitudinal strip (3) is located between the two columns of tetrabrikes arranged lengthwise, allowing to retain, with a single longitudinal strip (3), said tetrabrikes in said direction.

In the event that the products (10) had another shape, such as cylindrical, or there were more than two rows, more than one longitudinal strip (3) could be used to wrap them, each of said strips (3) being arranged in parallel, surrounding or wrapping different longitudinal perimeters of the set of products (10).

In addition to the longitudinal strip (3), the strap support container (1) comprises a transverse strap (2) that comprises three transverse strips (4), arranged in parallel, which wrap three parallel transverse perimeters of the set of products (10) and which are closed by being joined to outer end parts of transverse strips (9), also in an upper part of the support container (1).

The geometry and arrangement of the strips (3, 4) of the support container (1) can be seen unfolded in Figures 3 and 4. In another embodiment, it is possible to use an additional front strip (5), as shown in Figure 4, where each of the inner end parts of the halves of each transverse strip (4) of each section (2', 2' ') are connected to said additional front strip (5), and may also be connected to the longitudinal strip (3).

With the joint wrapping of the longitudinal strip (3) and the transverse strap (2), it is possible to retain all of the products (10) of the set of products (10), without the need to cover the entire exterior surface of said products (10). In the preferred embodiment, each section (2', 2'') of the transverse brace (2) is die-cut as shown in Figure 5, that is, with the halves of the transverse strips (4) included in the brace (2). ), of each section (2'), inserted in the gaps (6) of another identical section (2'), located opposite each other and interlocked.
