Abstract

Una estructura absorbente desechable para panales o compresas que comprende una guata fibrosa celulósica flojamente compactada, de forma sustancialmente rectangular y con una longitud por lo menos alrededor de 1, 5 veces mayor que la anchura de la guata, no pasando la anchura de unas 5 pulgadas (12, 7 cm), conteniendo una superficie de dicha guata por lo menos dos reservorios separados por un canal conector, estando los reservorios la longitud del canal centrados sobre el eje longitudinal de la guata, teniendo capacidad de 10 como mínimo, y siendo la profundidad del canal por lo menos la mitad de la profundidad de los reservorios; un forro permeable a la humedad que cubre la superficie de la guata que contienen los reservorios y un forro impermeable a la humedad que cubre por lo menos la superficie opuesta a la que contiene los reservorios.
