OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

The present invention belongs to the technical field of smoke filtering.

More particularly, the object of this invention is a smoke filtering device, of special application in the filtering of smoke coming from the combustion of a smoking article, for example, a cigarette, cigar, or little cigar.

Thanks to the device object of the invention, it is possible to evacuate the smoke from the combustion of the smoking article, after previously passing it through a set of filters provided in said device. In this way, the concentration of polluting gases (both those harmful to health and those with a greenhouse effect) and odors present in the smoke coming from the smoking article are significantly reduced, preferably to insignificant levels.

Therefore, the present invention makes it possible to avoid possible harm to the health of those people located near the user of the smoking article when they are using it. The device of the invention is also useful to help quit smoking.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

As is well known, smoking causes many damages to health -both for those people who smoke- and for all those around them and, particularly, children. In addition, it causes bad odours.

Thus, tobacco smoke incorporates a multitude of harmful substances that affect practically all the organs of the body and cause many diseases that, in many cases, have fatal conditions, and, likewise, entail a high economic cost for the treatment of all the diseases that causes, some of them being chronic.

In this way, it is proven that tobacco smoke affects the heart, lungs, liver, pancreas and many other organs, causing cancer on numerous occasions and a general deterioration of health, as it is present in tobacco smoke. tobacco substances such as carbon monoxide and hydrogen cyanide, among others.

Consequently, quitting smoking has a number of immediate health effects: blood pressure and heart rate are reduced. In addition, lung function is progressively improved, so that fatigue is reduced and if you cough, it tends to reduce and even eliminate coughing. Over time, the risk of suffering from certain diseases is considerably reduced and, in general, the quality of life is improved.

On the other hand, electronic cigarettes or vapers have been conceived as a healthier option for smokers than conventional cigarettes, cigars or cigarillos. Their main advantage is that they allow users to reduce the use and consumption of nicotine, which is one of the substances recognized as the most addictive in tobacco.

Through electronic cigarettes, water vapor is sucked in and expelled, either with a tobacco flavor or with another different flavor (chosen from a wide variety of available flavors). The many noxious substances in the smoke of conventional smoking articles are not present in such vapor, so its use is less detrimental to the health of smokers.

Electronic cigarettes are usually equipped with a battery, an atomizer and a renewable nicotine chamber and work in a similar way to that of a normal cigarette, even being able to create realistic water vapor smoke.

Thus, by means of the nicotine chamber, the amount of nicotine aspirated can be regulated, and gradually reduced, which helps smokers to reduce their addiction and to be able to stop smoking completely.

In addition, a nicotine cartridge can be equivalent to about 20 conventional cigarettes, which represents an economic saving until its consumption can be completely eradicated.

Thus, although it can be concluded that smoking electronic cigarettes is healthier than smoking conventional cigarettes, this does not mean that doing so is a healthy practice, but it does represent a less bad option for all those smokers who are unable to quit.

Document ES 1070376 U describes an "improved electronic cigarette with liquid tank and disposable flavourings", which comprises a body that simulates the part that contains the tobacco in a conventional cigarette, inside whose casing there is a printed circuit with a LED, a lithium battery and a switch and electronic control assembly with a microprocessor, a switch and a magnet supported by a silicone membrane and with an electrical connector made up of an outer threaded element, which connects one of the poles (cathode) and an element inside that connects the second of the poles (anode) and that is kept isolated from the aforementioned external element by means of a separator and another body that simulates the traditional cigarette filter, characterized by the fact that it has, in addition to a first body that simulates the part that contains the tobacco, with a second body that is coupled and is hidden inside the third body that simulates the filter, which follows second body contains a vaporizer with a resistance and an electrical connector to connect it to the connector of the first body; and in which the third body is disposable and has a cylindrical container containing fiber impregnated with aromatized propylene glycol.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The present invention aims to overcome or reduce the problems and disadvantages of the prior art, mentioned above.

To this end, a first object of the present invention refers to a smoke filtering device, comprising:

- a hollow headboard, provided with an external base and an internal base;

- a hollow main body whose lateral surface is provided with holes, the hollow main body being mounted on the inner base of the hollow header and being further configured to house a smoking article;

- a hollow nozzle mounted on the external base of the hollow header, said hollow nozzle being provided with a non-return valve;

- a module incorporating a power supply, a fan, a control board and a resistor;

- a set of concentric filters that surround the main hollow body and are fixed to the hollow header and to the module, and;

- at least one connecting spring, arranged between the nozzle and the hollow header.

In devices according to the present invention, the nozzle is mounted inside the external base of the hollow header on its internal lateral surface. Said nozzle is -preferably- provided with a first element and a second element joined together, for example, by threading.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the internal base of the hollow headboard has a narrowing in which the hollow main body is fixed. Said main body, in addition to housing the smoking article, can also act as an ashtray.

The nozzle is mounted on the external base of the hollow header, for example by snapping it into said base. Likewise, said nozzle is adjustable thanks to the connecting spring (or springs), arranged between the nozzle and the hollow head. Thus, the nozzle is configured to be requested by at least one of said connecting springs that tends to remove it from its compartment. What allows to regulate its position and to be able to smoke from the mouthpiece itself or directly from the smoking article.

For this, the lateral contact surfaces can be provided with inclined planes that run in the opposite direction.

The adjustable mouthpiece may preferably be provided with an adjustable air passage gate, by means of which the mixture of smoke from the smoking article with air can be adjusted. In an even more preferred embodiment of the invention, the adjustable gate is arranged in the second element (i.e., the outermost) of the adjustable nozzle.

Likewise, the hollow main body can be provided with at least one first temperature sensor. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, said hollow main body has at least a first group of sensors made up of three different sensors, so that thanks to said sensors it is possible to know the consumption of the smoking article, that is, if it has been consumed. consumed a third of it, half or simply have taken a few puffs.

On the other hand, the adjustable mouthpiece is preferably provided with a second temperature sensor, thus making it possible to know the temperature at which the mixture reaches the lungs.

In one embodiment of the invention, the adjustable nozzle mounted inside the external base of the cylindrical headboard is provided with ultraviolet LED lights.

Likewise, in the devices according to the present invention, a resistor is preferably interposed between the free internal end of the hollow main body, and the fan mounted on the module.

The set of concentric filters preferably comprises an activated carbon filter, an expanded clay filter, a negatively charged ionized ball filter and an anti-humidity filter, for example, an anti-humidity cellulose filter.

Finally, the device according to the present invention is also preferably provided with a cover or flange configured to close the body. main hole.

DESCRIPTION OF A PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

Throughout this description, as well as in the figures, elements with the same or similar functions will be designated with the same reference numbers.

Figures 1 to 12 show a possible embodiment of the smoke filtering device (1) of the invention.

As can be seen therein, said smoke filtering device (1) comprises a hollow header (2), which houses, by means of an internal base (3) (visible in Figure 6), a hollow main body (4) with a perforated lateral surface (visible in figure 3), designed to house a smoking article inside.

In this particular embodiment of the invention, both the hollow header (2) and the main hollow body (4) have a cylindrical shape.

An external base (5) of the hollow headboard (2) (visible in figure 6) incorporates a hollow adjustable nozzle (6) (shown in figure 5) formed by two elements (7) and (8) (visible in figure 11) which in this embodiment of the invention are joined by threading.

The smoke filtering device (1) also comprises a module (9) (visible in figures 4, 7, 8 and 9), which is arranged in this embodiment of the invention at the rear, and incorporates a source of (10) (in this particular case a battery), a fan (11), a control board (12) and a resistance (13), leaving the head (2) (figure 7) and the rear module ( 9) attached to a unitary set of concentric filters (14) (visible in figures 1 and 2) that surround the main hollow body (4) and whose outermost filter defines the external lateral surface of the device (1).

In a variant of the practical execution of the invention, the cell or battery (10) may be housed in the lateral surface of the hollow header (2) and, likewise, it may house the control plate (12).

In this particular embodiment of the invention, the set of filters (14) comprises an activated carbon filter, an expanded clay filter, a negatively charged ionized ball filter and an anti-humidity cellulose filter.

In this particular embodiment of the invention, the device (1) has, as can be seen in figure 10, an on and off button (21), respective buttons (22) for controlling the speed / - of the fan (11). ) and a button to turn the ultra-violet LED lights on and off (18). The hollow nozzle (6) is also provided with a non-return valve (23) shown in figures 10 and 11.

The resistor (13), shown in figures 8 and 9, associated with the rear module (9), is interposed between the free internal end of the main hollow body (4) (figures 3, 6, 7 and 13), and the fan. The main hollow body (4) acts as an ashtray, collecting the ash as the smoking article is consumed, so that the holes on the lateral surface have a diameter small enough to prevent the ash from falling outside.

Likewise, the aforementioned hollow main body (4) incorporates at least one temperature sensor, which allows knowing if the smoking articles have been smoked in their entirety, half, a third or only a few puffs have been taken. Figure 13 shows an embodiment in which the hollow main body (4) is provided with a first group of temperature sensors, made up of four different temperature sensors (24).

All this information obtained by the temperature sensors is collected by a chip (or central processing unit) from the different sensors provided in the device and is stored in a memory that integrates the control board (12). Said information can be dumped through a cable, bluetooth or Wi-Fi in external media to be able to know what has been smoked, and with it if progress is made or not in the possibility of quitting smoking.

The nozzle (6) (figure 7) is mounted under pressure on the second external base (5) of the headboard (2) as it presents the lateral contact surfaces inclined in the opposite direction, so that said nozzle (6) (figure 10) ) is associated through a pair of connecting springs (20) that tend to extract it from its position and that, by means of a tab, allow it to be adjusted in position, being able to suck from the mouthpiece (6) or from the smoking article.

The adjustable nozzle (6) mounted inside the external base (5) of the hollow cylindrical headboard (2) on its internal lateral surface comprises a first element (7) (figure 11) and a second element (8) joined by threading , so that the second outermost element (8) that forms the adjustable mouthpiece (6) has an adjustable air passage gate (16) (visible in figures 10 and 13), allowing the mixture of inhaled tobacco and oxygen to be adjusted. , allowing to reduce the harmful substances inhaled.

Likewise, in this embodiment of the invention, the adjustable mouthpiece (6) has a temperature sensor (17) (visible in figure 10) that will allow us to know the temperature at which the mixture has entered the lungs, since, it is not as harmful at one temperature as another, being more harmful the higher the temperature and through the device it is possible to lower the temperature of the mixture introduced into the mouth and, consequently, into the lungs.

Similarly, the adjustable nozzle (6) mounted inside the external base (5) of the hollow headboard (2) has ultraviolet lights (18) on its internal lateral surface (figure 11).

The device object of the invention can also be used to get rid of the use of tobacco. Thus, according to a preferred use of the present invention, the user is initially weaned from taking a cigarette or other smoking article between the fingers, by doing so using the device (1) instead, to progressively eliminate that habit.

The next step could be to eliminate the habit and the feeling of having the smoking article between the lips. At this point, the device (1) would begin to be used through the mouthpiece (6) that allows the filter of the smoking article to be covered and inhalation through this mouthpiece.

In principle, it is not necessary to open the gate (16) present in the mixing nozzle (6), although it could be done in order to speed up the process of quitting smoking.

Once these first two habits have been eliminated, you can move on to reducing the amount of tobacco smoked. This prevents the user from having to face the fact of having to gradually reduce the amount of cigarettes (or other smoking articles) consumed, since with the device according to the invention it is possible to smoke the same amount of smoking articles and inhale a lower percentage of harmful substances. With the sensors located in the body (4) that acts as an ashtray, it is possible to know if the entire smoking article has been smoked, a third of it, half of it or just a couple of puffs. All these data are stored in a memory integrated in the control board (12) and managed by a chip that collects the data of the different elements to be measured, to be downloaded via cable or Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.

In addition, the device according to the invention avoids contaminating those around us, or impregnating everything around us with smoke, because thanks to its non-return valve (23) (figures 10 and 11) provided in the hollow mouthpiece ( 6), when exhaling through the device, the exhaled smoke is not released through the opening provided in the mouthpiece.

The habit of throwing ash can be eliminated with the device (1), since it has an integrated ashtray so that neither the butt nor the ash is thrown on the ground, and they can be deposited in their proper place when we clean the device. .
