Abstract

A plug-coupling device is formed from a socket (10) and a plug (11). Inside the plug-coupling device there is fitted a flanged ring (44) on which sliding surfaces formed from two oblique surfaces (64, 65) are integrally formed, which sliding surfaces interact with pins (72) which are guided such that they can move axially in the socket housing (30) and are held under the pressure of a spring (73). The two oblique surfaces (64, 65) are inclined with respect to one another such that for switching on, the one, first oblique surface (74) operates the switch automatically into the switched-off position. As a result of slots (69, 70) being provided on both sides of the oblique surfaces (64, 65), two latching positions are formed in connection with the pins (72) in which the switch is switched on or switched off.
