Abstract

Planta potabilizadora de agua marina, caracterizada esencialmente porque consiste en un alojamiento cerrado y transparente provisto de tomas para la introducción de agua marina mediante conductos oportunos, impulsada por un grupo de bombeo, cuyo alojamiento esta dotado de orificios para la entrada de aire caliente del medio ambiente caldeado por el sol en el interior del alojamiento donde, por efecto del calor concentrado, se produce vapor de agua que asciende arrastrado por el aire caliente hasta la parte superior del alojamiento donde un extractor extrae el vapor de agua y lo envía a un serpentín refrigerador que condensa el vapor y lo licúa, transformándolo en agua potable que es recogida adecuadamente, cuyo alojamiento en una zona inferior está dotado de orificios de descarga del agua densa, en decir agua con mayor concentración de sal que la que tiene a la entrada del alojamiento, desde cuyos orificios el agua es canalizada debidamente.
