Abstract

Cartucho de cinta magnética que constituyéndose a partir de un cuerpo cajeado, provisto de una cubierta, en cuyo interior va instalada una bobina de recogida de cinta, que se alimenta desde otra de almacenamiento, yendo guiada la cinta de bobina a bobina por una serie de rodillos de giro libre, que la conducen por la periferia interna del cartucho, haciéndola pasar por una zona de exposición a una cabeza grabadora, se caracteriza esencialmente porque la citada zona de exposición está localizada sobre un abultamiento lateral y coplanario del cartucho, en coincidencia con un paso transversal practicado en dicho abultamiento, abierto frontalmente; porque el citado cartucho incorpora medios para permitir detectar, desde un dispositivo externo, el final de la cinta; y porque el discurrir de dicha cinta desde la bobina de almacenamiento hasta la de recogida se realiza con el concurso de unos rodillos de arrastre, que garantizan su paso regular a través de la zona de exposición a la cabeza grabadora, la colaboración de un dispositivo que actúa como freno de la bobina de almacenamiento, a la par que como tensor de la cinta, y la participación de un embrague, instalado sobre la bobina de recogida, destinado a evitar sobretensiones en la cinta, durante la operación.
