Abstract

Endoprótesis de la cavidad cotiloidea, constituída por una armadura (1) implantable y por un puente (2) que constituye la superficie de la articulación (14), mantenido en el interior de dicha armadura, presentando la armadura (1) y el puente (2) superficies de ajuste (5, 6) cooperantes, con simetría de rotación o de estrella referido a un eje central de la armadura (9), mientras que la forma de la superficie de la articulación (14) se aparta de la forma de una superficie de rotación referida a este eje (9), de manera que la superficie de articulación (14) puede ajustarse mediante ajuste angular variable de las superficies de ajuste (5, 6) entre sí, caracterizada porque la dirección (16) determinada por la delimitación de la abertura (15, 24) de la superficie de articulación (14) se desvía de la dirección del eje central de la armadura (9), de tal forma que la delimitación de la abertura (15, 24) sobresale por un lado (23) en mayor cuantía de la armadura que por el otro lado.
