Aro soporte criador de mejillones y de otros seres vivos, caracterizado por el hecho de constar de un disco circular o poligonal regular de material resistente y de menor densidad que el agua marina, provisto de un ojo central para conformar un aro que enhebre la cuerda o manga de cultivo a la cual rodea y a la que se sujeta, respectivamente, mediante tirantes radicales pasados por ojales reguolares del aro o mediante radios cuyo extremo libre se acuña en la manga constituyendo unas plataformas a distinta cota en las que se apoya la piña en pisos y que debidamente colocado en plano no se podrá introducir en los espacios entre mejillones ni cortar la trama de biso que los une. 2.
