Abstract

Método para conformar una baldosa cerámica prensando un material en polvo cerámico preparado en un aparato de prensado, obteniéndose dicho material en polvo cerámico moliendo en seco materias primas cerámicas, siendo la dimensión máxima de las partículas de dicho material en polvo cerámico inicial más pequeña que 75 μm, que comprende las etapas de: - humedecer dicho material en polvo cerámico; - laminar dicho material en polvo cerámico para obtener aglomerados de dicho material en polvo cerámico; - aplicar una acción mecánica en dicho material en polvo cerámico durante dicho laminado; caracterizado por el hecho de que: dicho humedecimiento comprende humedecer hasta un valor de humedad no más grande que el 11,5% de humedad; dicho laminado y dicha aplicación de una acción mecánica se llevan a cabo para controlar la desagregación de al menos parte de dichos aglomerados para obtener una desagregación deseada y limitar el tamaño máximo de gránulos formados a partir de dichos aglomerados, comprendiendo dicho laminado girar una cámara (3) de aglomeración de un aparato (1) de mezcla alrededor de su eje longitudinal (X) en donde está presente dicho material (8) en polvo cerámico, llevándose a cabo dicho giro de dicha cámara (3) de aglomeración a una velocidad comprendida entre 15 rpm y 25 rpm; comprendiendo dicha aplicación de una acción mecánica girar un elemento (7) de desagregación dispuesto en el interior de dicha cámara (3) de aglomeración, llevándose a cabo dicho giro de dicho elemento (7) de desagregación a una velocidad que no es más pequeña que 1500 rpm, y comprendiendo además dicho método: - alimentar continuamente dicho aparato (1) de mezcla con dicho material en polvo cerámico y suministrar continuamente gránulos a la salida (5) de dicho aparato (1) de mezcla; - secar dichos gránulos hasta un valor de humedad que es aproximadamente el mismo que un valor de humedad de compactación necesario para compactar mediante prensado dicho material en polvo cerámico a efectos de conformar dicha baldosa cerámica, estando comprendido dicho valor de humedad de compactación entre el 3% y el 8%.
