Abstract

Método para medir una corriente de llama en una llama en un dispositivo de calentamiento de agua que comprende un quemador (20) y un intercambiador de calor (40) eléctricamente aislado del mismo, comprendiendo el método las etapas de: aplicar una diferencia de potencial entre el quemador (20) y el intercambiador de calor (40); medir una corriente que empieza a fluir como resultado de la diferencia de potencial aplicado, y determinar un factor de exceso de aire en base a la corriente de llama medida, en donde la diferencia de potencial aplicada es una diferencia de potencial alterno, y el método comprende además las etapas de: medir la corriente de llama en ambas direcciones; Determinar si hay una llama presente entre el quemador (20) y el intercambiador de calor (40) estableciendo que las corrientes de llama medidas en ambas direcciones no son sustancialmente las mismas; y cerrar el suministro de combustible al quemador si no hay una llama presente entre el quemador (20) y el intercambiador de calor (40).
