Abstract
Un sistema (100) de inspección de materiales que comprende: una región (212) de escaneo configurada para recibir un objeto; una fuente (120) de radiación configurada para iluminar la región de escaneo; un sensor (125) configurado para detectar la radiación procedente de la región de escaneo; un procesador; un medio de almacenamiento legible por ordenador que almacena instrucciones para generar una imagen bidimensional del objeto de interés, haciendo las instrucciones, cuando son ejecutadas, que el procesador realice lo siguiente: generar una imagen volumétrica (108) de la región de escaneo basada en la radiación detectada, incluyendo la imagen volumétrica una representación de un objeto de interés y de otro objeto, generar una radiografía bidimensional (109) de la región de escaneo basada en la radiación detectada, incluyendo la radiografía bidimensional una representación del objeto de interés y del otro objeto, analizar la imagen volumétrica para identificar el objeto de interés o el otro objeto en la imagen volumétrica, basándose en la imagen volumétrica analizada, generar una imagen bidimensional que excluya el objeto de interés, caracterizado por que las instrucciones, cuando son ejecutadas, además hacen que el procesador realice los siguiente: comparar la radiografía bidimensional y la imagen bidimensional que se generó basándose en la imagen volumétrica analizada y que excluye el objeto de interés identificado, y generar una imagen bidimensional basándose en la comparación, incluyendo la imagen bidimensional el objeto de interés y excluyendo el otro objeto.
