Conjunto sanitario y procedimiento de funcionamiento del mismo. Conjunto sanitario, con un aparato sanitario, sendas conducciones (1, 3) de agua fría y caliente y un dispositivo de ahorro que comprende un vaso (5) hidroneumático, una válvula termostática (6) y una válvula reductora (8) donde la presión en la conducción (3) de agua caliente es superior a la del vaso (5) y la presión de agua fría es inferior a la del vaso (5). Procedimiento de funcionamiento del conjunto sanitario definido, que comprende: abertura (13) del agua caliente; paso (15) del agua a través de una válvula termostática (6), con temperatura de cierre (Tc); si temperatura (T) del agua es inferior a la de cierre (Tc), se produce desvío (15) hasta el vaso (5); si temperatura (T) del agua es superior a la de cierre (Tc), se cierra (16) válvula termostática (6) y el agua se desvía (17) hacia toma de salida (4) de agua caliente.
