Abstract

The invention relates to an actuator, in particular for a valve, having a spindle and a diaphragm disc fastened to the spindle. In the actuators which have become known previously, the making of the connection between the diaphragm disc and the spindle involved a comparatively large effort. Collars, shoulders and the like were created by the machining of a workpiece having a comparatively large diameter, the finished spindle then having a substantially smaller diameter overall. In order to obtain a reliable connection which can be made cost-effectively, it is proposed according to the invention that the spindle consist of a prefabricated bar having an essentially uniform diameter, that this spindle have an annular groove or the like, and that a holding element consisting of at least two parts engage in the annular groove, to which holding element the diaphragm disc is connected.
