Faro supletorio predominante plástico para automóvil, que comporta un bloque óptico (1) formado por un reflector (2) solidario de un vidrio (3) y alojado en un cajetín (4) de materia plástica rodeado por un marco frontal (13) y que lleva unos medios de fijación del bloque óptico y del marco, caracterizado porque los medios de fijación del bloque óptico (1) en el cajetín (4) están constituidos por unos topes (8) que vienen de origen con unas partes vaciadas correspondientes (9) del reborde (5) del vidrio (3) por una parte y por otra parte por unos ganchos (10) del cajetín aptos para anclarse elásticamente por presión en unas partes vaciadas correspondientes (12) dispuestas en el reborde (5) del vidrio (3) idénticas y opuestas a las primeras de modo que se haga reversible el cajetín (4).
