Abstract

A cycle wheel rim comprises housings 12, 12' designed to receive the beads T of a standard tire, and a pair of surfaces 10, 10' to which a tubular tire B can be glued. The rim may be of reinforced plastics, or, as shown, may be made from a light alloy extrusion cut to length and joined at its ends by a member 16. The dimension L + L' may be about 10 mm.
