Abstract

Un artículo absorbente desechable que comprende una lámina superior fibrosa permeable al líquido; una lámina de respaldo impermeable al líquido; unos medios de fijación para fijar dicha lámina superior a dicha lámina de respaldo; unos medios de núcleo absorbente para absorber líquidos, estando encerrados dichos medios de núcleo absorbente entre dicha lámina superior y dicha lámina de respaldo, y teniendo un borde de núcleo, caracterizado porque dichos medios de núcleo absorbente tienen un segmento cercado de borde de núcleo, que comprende al menos un segmento de dicho borde de núcleo; y al menos un miembro de barrera impermeable al líquido que tiene una porción exterior que se extiende desde dicho segmento cercado de borde de núcleo, y que tiene una porción interior interpuesta entre dicha lámina superior y dichos medios de núcleo absorbente, y caracterizado además porque dicha lámina superior tiene al menos un segmento resistente a la emigración de líquido que comprende una porción consolidada fijada a dicha porción interior de dicho al menos un miembro de barrera.
