The invention relates to a package for a product with at least one hygroscopic loose solid, the package presenting a product bag with closure made of a moisture-permeable material to accommodate the product, a transport container surrounding the product bag and a desiccant agent that is disposed outside the product bag and inside the transport container.

In the chemical industry or in the pharmaceutical industry, hygroscopic solids, such as powdered substances, must often be transported and stored before they are intended for intended use. Many different packages are known from experience for this intended use. In many different packages, the chemical or chemical substance is packaged in a sealed product bag to protect it from impurities and then placed in a transport container. The transport container can be, for example, a drum or a box.

In the case of a product that is either composed of a hygroscopic substance or present at least one hygroscopic component and is in the form of powder or granulate or loose, there is always the danger that, due to moisture during the process After packaging or later during transport or storage, the product cakes due to residual moisture. When a large amount of moisture accumulates on or within the product over a prolonged period of time, the fluidity of the product can be reduced or disappear completely and the product is compacted to form one or more large lumps.

To reduce the danger of caking or compacting the product during transport and storage, the procedure of making the surrounding transport container airtight is known to moisture and after filling with the product, close it tightly to moisture. However, it cannot be ruled out that during filling and, in particular, when successively removing the product and, because of this, opening and closing the transport container several times, moisture accumulates in the interior space of the transport container and cause caking or compaction of the hygroscopic product.

To avoid these harmful consequences of the moisture found in the transport container, it is known from experience that it is necessary to have a desiccant in the transport container that absorbs and accumulates the moisture found in the transport container. Usually the drying agent is disposed in a bag or in several bags. These desiccant bags filled with a desiccant agent are placed in the transport container either before or after the product bag filled with the product. WO 2003/004380 A2 describes a package in which several sachets filled with a desiccant are arranged in an intermediate space between the product bag and the transport container. However, in particular during a movement and shaking due, for example, to transport, it cannot be ruled out that desiccant bags or desiccant bags leave their initial position and accumulate in any place within the transport container, whereby an additional moisture absorption is concentrated in the area around the desiccant bags and in the remote areas of this it is difficult to absorb moisture through the desiccant bags.

From experience it is known that desiccant bags can be fixed, for example, with ribbons or bows in the area of an opening with closure of the product bag filled with product. The effort required for this is considerable. It is true that desiccant bags can be arranged or fixed, but not without great effort, in the area of the product bag opening filled at a particular location in the product bag or inside the transport container.

Likewise, it is known from experience that it is necessary to provide a moisture-permeable housing device in the transport container in which a desiccant bag can be arranged. Transport containers presenting such accommodation devices, for example, in the form of small sachets or grid boxes to house a desiccant bag are described, for example, in US 6,102,198 and have a laborious fabrication and face. The housing devices protrude into the interior space of the transport container and may damage the product bags filled with the product. The transport container provided with these housing devices must either be provided for this intended use and manufactured accordingly, or be equipped with these housing devices later. Often, apart from the costs that are additionally incurred for this, it is perceived as a disadvantage of a lot of weight that only corresponding transport containers are suitable for the transport of hygroscopic products and these must be prepared in a sufficient quantity and separated from containers of transport without such accommodation devices.

economically the humidity of the transport container and completely reduce or prevent the caking or compaction of the hygroscopic product.

This objective is solved according to the invention by subsequently arranging in the transport container a drying sheath of a moisture permeable material that can be introduced into an existing transport container and that wraps the product bag with the product, and the drying agent being disposed on one of the inner faces of the drying case oriented towards the product bag with the product. With the use of a drying sheath, the distribution of the desiccant agent can be fixed within the transport container or around the product bag with the product independently of the product bag used to house the product and independently of the transport container. No laborious and expensive modifications of the transport container are required. It is also not necessary to fix the drying agent in the product bag or in the closing area of the product bag after filling the product bag with the product and the subsequent closure of the product bag.

The use of a drying sheath that can be subsequently introduced into an already available transport container makes it possible to transform the already available transport containers and use them for the transport of hygienic products. Since the drying case can be used with different transport containers, existing distribution systems with the corresponding transport container can be preserved without modification. The additional cost of provisioning and use of the drying case is very low.

The drying case can be configured to be reusable and remain in the transport container after removing the product bag with the product, so that the drying case is available again for a new use of the transport container. It is also possible to manufacture and provide the drying case for single use and configure it as a disposable product.

With the use of a product bag composed of a moisture-permeable material, the action of the drying agent is intensified. If there is or accumulates moisture debris in the product bag or in the product inside it, after opening and closing the product bag, this moisture is transported through the moisture-permeable product bag to the intermediate space between the product bag and the surrounding drying sheath and there! it is absorbed and fixed by the drying agent.

According to a configuration of the idea of the invention, it is provided that the desiccant agent is disposed in at least one desiccant bag that is fixed on an inner face of the drying sheath. These types of desiccant bags are commercial and economical for various desiccant agents in numerous variants and forms. The desiccant bag can be fixed in the drying case easily and reliably, for example, through welding, gluing or sewing. Conveniently several desiccant bags are fixed in the drying sheath at an equal distance from each other to favor moisture absorption through the desiccant agent found in the desiccant bags and to prevent the desiccant from concentrating in an area Small inside the transport container and do not absorb moisture from other areas or only absorb it in small quantities.

An especially simple and efficient fixing of the desiccant bag in the drying case can be achieved by covering and fixing at least one desiccant bag by a moisture permeable cover on the inner face of the drying case. The moisture permeable cover may be perforated and made of the same moisture tight material as the drying case. If the drying case consists, for example, of a laminate, the desiccant bags may be arranged in sachets that are obtained through multiple turns and the subsequent fixing, or glued or welded, of the sachets! formed of the drying case.

According to a particularly preferred configuration of the idea of the invention, it is envisioned that the drying case is adapted to the shape of the transport container. The drying sheath can be introduced into the interior space of the transport container and form an interior lining of the transport container. Through the adaptation of the drying cover to the shape of the transport container, the arrangement of the drying cover can be fixed in the transport container or in relation to the transport container and, in this way, the position of desiccant bags fixed on the drying case in the interior space or on the walls of the transport container. It can also be conceived and it is advantageous for individual applications that the drying case is adapted to the shape of the product bag. Then, the product bag filled with the product can be introduced into the drying case by fixing the disposition of the desiccant agent or the individual desiccant bags in relation to the full product bag. In this way, the most homogeneous distribution of the desiccant agent can be ensured in the product bag and with it in the immediate environment of the product also in the event that the full product bag only occupies a part of the transport container and that, during transport, often change place and form within the transport container.

For many applications or products it is already sufficient if a few desiccant bags are placed in the transport container. In these cases it may be advantageous if the desiccant is disposed only in an area of the drying sheath oriented towards an opening of the transport container. Usually, when filling the transport container, in the opening area of the transport container there is a wasted volume in which, after the closure of the transport container, there is air that normally presents moisture. Through the disposition of the desiccant agent in this area, it is possible to effectively dehumidify the air in the transport container. In addition, at each opening of the transport container for, for example, each of the successive and gradual extractions of the product enters fresh and moist air into the transport container that accumulates in the area near the opening and there! It can dehumidify effectively.

In particular, in the case of high ambient humidity as expected or in the case of a product especially vulnerable to moisture, it may be convenient to place the desiccant distributed over the entire inner face of the drying sheath. Thus, for example, a large number of desiccant bags can be fixed in the drying sheath distributed at regular or irregular distances along the inside face of the drying sheath. Regardless of the shape of the product bag filled with product and regardless of the amount of product left in the transport container after partial extraction, it can be ensured that several bags of product are arranged in the environment of the product bag desiccant at equal distance from each other.

In order to favor the dehumidification of the product found in the product bag, the product bag is expected to be a heat-welded polyethylene (HDPE) fiber web. A package 1 shown by way of example in Fig. 1 presents a product bag with closure 2 that is filled with a hygroscopic loose product 3. The product bag 2 consists of a moisture-permeable napa material of polyethylene fibers High density (HDPE). The hygroscopic product 3 can be, for example, a chemical substance that is needed for the manufacture of final products in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry.

The product bag with closure 2 is disposed in one of the transport containers 4 surrounding the product bag 2. The transport container 4 has a canister-shaped base body 5 that can be closed with a lid. The transport container 4 is composed of a moisture-tight material, for example, of polyethylene. Through the additional closing elements 7, the cover 6 can be arranged and fixed on the base body 5 in a moisture-tight manner to close the transport container 4 in a hermetic way, provided that it is necessary, The closed transport container 4 can be additionally equipped with an originality insurance, for example, in the form of a seal 8.

In an interior space 9 of the transport container 4 there is a drying case 10 adapted to the shape of the transport container 4. The drying case 10 consists of a thin sheet of polyethylene and is also hermetically configured to moisture. drying bag 10. The desiccant bags 13 contain a suitable drying agent 14, for example, silica gel or zeolite, sodium sulfate or anhydrous magnesium sulfate.

The moisture that is in the inner space 9 free of the transport container 4 is absorbed and fixed through the desiccant 14 in the desiccant bags 13 that are arranged in this zone 12 of the drying sheath 10. On the inner face 11 of the drying sheath 10, several desiccant bags 13 are fixed at regular distances, each containing a portion of the desiccant agent 14. Accordingly, the product bag 2 and the product 3 inside are dehumidified. homogeneously from all sides. In this variant embodiment of the container 1 does not depend on the shape of the surrounding transport container 4.

In the exemplary embodiment shown in Fig. 3 the shape of the drying sheath 10 is adapted to the shape of the transport container 4 so that the drying sheath 10 forms a lining of the side walls and the bottom of the container transport. The drying case 10 can be arranged before the introduction of the product bag 2 into the transport container 4 and does not prevent the subsequent introduction of the product bag 2 even if it is already filled with the product. The drying sheath 10 has desiccant bags 13 distributed on its side surfaces 15 each with a portion of the desiccant agent 14. Each of the individual desiccant bags 13 is covered with a cover 16 of a piece of an adapted polyethylene sheet to them and is fixed on the lateral surface 15 of the drying sheath 10. The individual covers 16 are each provided with a perforation 17 so that the covers, in spite of the moisture-tight polyethylene material, are permeable to the humidity.
