Procedimiento para comprobar la presencia de cartuchos de combustible deteriorados en un reactor refrigerador con gas, caracterizado por comprender el obtener muestras de gas refrigerante que ha estado en contacto con los cartuchos en el reactor; el precipitar durante un periodo mínimo de un minuto las partículas ionizadas presentes en el gas refrigerante recogido y el medir la actividad de las partículas precipitadas.
