Abstract

Sistema de osteosíntesis para el tratamiento de fracturas de huesos largos, que comprende un clavo intramedular (1) con un cuerpo de clavo alargado (2) de un material de metal duro con dos secciones de extremo (5, 6) y una sección central (9) entre las mismas, que presenta al menos un agujero de tornillo (7), transversal y próximo al extremo, para enroscar al menos un tornillo óseo (25, 27) en cada sección de extremo (6), a) siendo el cuerpo de clavo (2) un cuerpo macizo o presentando un canal de paso (4), dispuesto centralmente en la sección transversal del cuerpo de clavo (2), para introducir un elemento guía (24), b) estando situados en la sección central (9) al menos dos agujeros de tornillo (10) transversales, separados entre sí en dirección longitudinal del cuerpo de clavo (2), para enroscar tornillos óseos (16) en la zona próxima a una fractura, c) estando configurados todos los agujeros de tornillo (16), situados en la sección central, en inlays (11) fabricados de un material de metal blando, unidos firmemente con el cuerpo de clavo (2), d) pudiéndose enroscar tornillos óseos (16) con una rosca inicial de un material de metal duro en el hueso y en los agujeros de tornillo (10) para formar roscas, mediante lo que unen firmemente el hueso al clavo intramedular, caracterizado por que los agujeros de tornillo, situados en la sección central, son agujeros de tornillo unilaterales que parten respectivamente solo de un lado longitudinal del cuerpo de clavo y no se extienden hasta el lado longitudinal opuesto del cuerpo de clavo, sino que finalizan a una distancia del lado longitudinal opuesto.
