Abstract

Bicicleta gimnástica perfeccionada, que estando formado por un bastidor en el que se fija un tubular soporte del sillín y de forma articulada un tubular soporte del manillar, con in volante de inercia que gira mediante el accionamiento de los pedales, esencialmente se caracteriza porque sobre el eje del volante se monta con posibilidad de giro una pieza ahorquillada cuyos brazos se situan a ambos lados del volante estando fijados sobres la parte inferior de estos brazos unas zapatas de freno que ofrecen una resistencia al giro del volante que es regulable mediante el mando correspondiente de manera que esta existencia variable se traduzca en una mayor o menor amplitud de giro de la pieza ahorquillada y que queda medida en una escala ergométrica prevista en la parte central del sobre la que se desplaza una aguja dispuesta en el extremo de una varilla articulada a la parte superior de la pieza ahorquillada habiéndose previsto en dicha parte superior la acción de un cilindro amortiguador de las oscilaciones de la horquilla habidas durante el ejercicio de pedaleo.
