Abstract
La invención hace referencia a un procedimiento para endurecer una pieza de trabajo (1) con al menos dos inductores (2), donde a través de un movimiento relativo entre los inductores (2) y la pieza de trabajo (1) la capa externa que debe ser endurecida (4) es expuesta a los campos electromagnéticos de los inductores (2) y es calentada hasta alcanzar la temperatura de endurecimiento deseada, y donde la potencia de calentamiento de los inductores (2) y la velocidad del movimiento relativo son coordinadas una con respecto a otra de manera que toda la capa externa (4) se calienta continuamente de manera uniforme.
