Abstract

Being able to present very different usual configurations in containers to contain beverages, food or other products, the container of the invention allows to obtain a container that, being sufficiently rigid during its use as such container, is in turn easily deformable at the time of its elimination, to reduce its volumetric occupation as such residual product. Description Object of the invention

The present invention relates to a container, specifically a disposable container, of plastic materials.

The object of the invention is to achieve a container that is sufficiently sharp during its use as such a container, which in turn is easily deformable at the time of its disposal, in order to reduce its volumetric occupation as such residual product.

Background of the invention

There is a wide variety of packaging, ranging from the configuration of a classic bottle or tray, to any modern design, obtained based on plastic materials, which are used for marketing and consumption of products also very varied. Examples of these containers can be found in US5833069 or GB694669, where the characteristics of the preamble of claim 1 appear. Document GB2410237 describes a beverage canister with a double wall that forms a narrow watertight chamber. This beverage bottle has no opening means that allow access to the chamber.

The common denominator for this entire range of containers consists of a problem of material consumption, that is to say of the plastic or raw material constituting such containers, since a certain wall thickness is required for reasons of stability of the container, when it is taken by hand, wall thickness much greater than would be necessary for the container to exclusively fulfill its container function without being subjected to manual deformations.

Thus, if the container is very thin wall it is excessively deformable and difficult to handle, and if to solve this problem the wall thickness of the same is increased, this brings with it a greater consumption of material and a greater difficulty of reducing the maximum Volume of the container when it is discarded as waste.

Description of the invention

The package proposed by the invention solves in a fully satisfactory manner the problems set forth above, so that during its use as such a container it has a stiff enough in its walls to determine a comfortable handling thereof, and yet said stiffness is easily removable in the moment in which the package is going to be eliminated because the total consumption of its contents has been produced, and all this with a minimum participation of material, as will be seen later.

For this and more specifically, the package that is recommended focuses its characteristics on the fact that its wall is double, being constituted by two thin plastic sheets, duly related to each other to define a narrow chamber, so that the beverage canister structured from the air contained in said chamber, which can be pressurized or at atmospheric pressure, it gives the body of the container a high degree of structural rigidity without the need to incorporate a greater amount of material, and does not constitute any problem to the time to discard the container since it is enough to cancel the tightness of said chamber, by means of a drain valve or any other appropriate mechanism so that the container can be profusely wrinkled and become an object of small dimensions.

It should be noted that the aforementioned envelope air chamber, in addition to stiffening the body of the container as such, acts as a thermal barrier, a result of special interest when the package is intended for the commercialization of beverages that must be consumed cold or hot.

Thus, the larger the container, and given the special structuring thereof, the lower its volume will be at the time of disposal compared to other containers of identical dimensions and with a conventional structure.

However, it should be noted that, especially when the package is going to be large, it can be supplied deflated, to have a minimum volumetric occupancy during transport and storage, and can be easily swollen at the time deemed convenient, through the valvular element associated with it.

20 Preferred Embodiment of the Invention

The practical embodiment represented in Figure 1 is a container that corresponds to the classic "canister" of beverages, based on a substantially cylindrical body (1), with slight trunk-shaped extensions in its bases, in one of which, obviously the upper, the opening mechanism (2) is located.

25 Although this classic type container is provided, according to the invention, which is made of plastic material, it has a double wall (3-3 ') as a peculiarity, so that a watertight chamber is established within it (4) which, as previously stated, may even be pressurized.

This allows the external (3) and internal (3 ') partitions to have a very thin wall, that is, with a minimum inclusion of plastic material in the package, said container offering a high degree of structural rigidity during its use for the Drink consumption, which ensures good stability in every way.

However, at the time of discarding the container due to its single character, for example for recycling, the opening of the chamber (4) causes the body of the container to become a highly deformable element, whose volume can be drastically reduced.
