Abstract

Elemento de protección para una canalización y método de obtención del elemento de protección. Elemento de protección de canalizaciones obtenido mediante una mezcla de un material elastómero termoplástico y un material intumescente. El elemento comprende un cuerpo principal que puede tener tanto forma de plancha (1) como de tubo (3), y que puede asimismo comprender elementos de separación (2) para conseguir un aislamiento adicional a través de la cámara de aire generada entre dicho elemento y la canalización. El elemento proporciona protección ante fugas de líquidos, así como ante focos de calor o fuego provocados por cables eléctricos u otros elementos.
