Abstract

Placa base de aparato doméstico con un material compuesto producido a través de un proceso sol-gel. La invención hace referencia a una placa base de aparato doméstico (20), en particular, a una placa base de campo de cocción, compuesta en parte o por completo por un material compuesto (22) que está producido parcialmente o por completo a través de un proceso sol-gel, y el cual presenta uno o varios materiales de matriz (24) y uno o varios materiales de fibra (26) ligados con el o los materiales de matriz (24). Para conseguir una resistencia a la flexión elevada y una baja conductividad térmica del material compuesto (22), se propone que la porosidad del material compuesto (22) presente un valor de entre el 20% y el 45%. Asimismo, se propone un procedimiento para la fabricación de una placa base de aparato doméstico (20), en particular, una placa base de campo de cocción, la cual esté compuesta en parte o por completo por un material compuesto (22) que presente uno o varios materiales de matriz (24) y uno o varios materiales de fibra (26) ligados con el o los materiales de matriz (24), donde, en uno o más pasos del procedimiento (44, 50), para producir el material compuesto (22) se lleve a cabo un proceso sol-gel, en el que el valor de la porosidad del material compuesto (22) sea ajustado entre el 20% y el 45%.
