Abstract

Un aparato de comunicación por línea eléctrica (100, 100A) para realizar comunicaciones a través de una línea eléctrica (700) con otro aparato de comunicación por línea eléctrica (100, 100B), comprendiendo el aparato de comunicación por línea eléctrica (100, 100A): una parte de comunicación (20) para transmitir/recibir una señal con el otro aparato de comunicación por línea eléctrica (100, 100B); y un controlador (10) para realizar un proceso de autenticación, incluyendo el proceso de autenticación recibir a través de la parte de comunicación (20) una señal de solicitud de autenticación para que una solicitud inicie un proceso de autenticación para compartir una clave criptográfica de comunicación encriptada realizada entre el aparato de comunicación por línea eléctrica (100, 100A) y el otro aparato de comunicación por línea eléctrica (100, 100B), transmitir a través de la parte de comunicación (20) una señal de respuesta de autenticación que indica una recepción de la señal de solicitud de autenticación al otro aparato de comunicación por línea eléctrica (100, 100B), generar la clave criptográfica y transmitir la clave criptográfica al otro aparato de comunicación por línea eléctrica (100, 100B) a través de la parte de comunicación (20); en donde el controlador (10) está adaptado adicionalmente para transmitir posteriormente a través de la parte de comunicación (20) al otro aparato de comunicación por línea eléctrica (100, 100B) una señal de confirmación de registro para hacer que el otro aparato de comunicación por línea eléctrica (100, 100B) proporcione una indicación que confirma un estado de registro, indicando el estado de registro si el proceso de autenticación está completado, en donde en caso de un proceso de autenticación completado el otro aparato de comunicación por línea eléctrica (100, 100B) puede realizar la comunicación encriptada usando la clave criptográfica.
