Abstract

A cooker or heater unit which serves both as a receptacle and as a burner comprising one part constituting both the bottom of the receptacle 11 and also the top of the burner 12, the burner top comprising a neck-shaped part in which holes 16 are cut allowing the flames to play over the bottom of the receptacle thus providing greater thermal yield as the contents of the receptacle are heated both directly by the flames and also, by conduction or some other means, by the heat which has passed from the flames to the structure of the burner.
