Abstract
System with no moving parts or electrodes to obtain vectorial thrust capacity in plasma space motors with an essentially axial magnetic field or lacking an applied magnetic field, plus associated operating procedure. The system comprises three or more non-aligned conductive coils (1) which are located at the output of the motor coaxially therewith, electrically fed with direct current independently, capable of generating a magnetic nozzle (6) that guides the expansion of the plasma and optionally deflects it laterally. The operating method comprises the choice of the electric current in each coil to change the direction of the magnetic nozzle and therefore the jet of ejected plasma and the thrust vector within a wide angular range.
