Abstract
Rotating mechanism of cross flow to take advantage of the kinetic energy of a water current. It allows to take advantage of current energy through a simple construction. It comprises: a rotating main shaft (4); a base for supporting the main shaft (4) above the current in a direction perpendicular to said current; and at least one rotor, coupled to the main shaft. The rotor comprises: a pair of bushings, each with at least three arms (3) coupled to the main shaft (4), in a direction perpendicular to the main axis (4), defining the pairs of arms (3) facing each other in a bushing with respect to the other; and at least one turbine coupled between each pair of arms (3), at the free ends. Each turbine comprises: a support coupled to the pair of arms (3) in a rotatable manner in a direction parallel to that of the main shaft (4); and at least three vanes (1), coupled to the support.
