Abstract

Un sistema para la neuromodulación de tejido nervioso humano a través de estimulación con corriente continua, que comprende: a. al menos dos electrodos (109, 110) aplicados sobre la piel de un sujeto humano; b. un dispositivo de control (100) configurado para verificar las credenciales (106) de un sujeto especializado que está efectuando una prescripción (103), en el cual la prescripción está definida como un número finito de estimulaciones programadas (201) con un intervalo de tiempo mínimo específico (202) entre dos estimulaciones consecutivas; c. al menos un dispositivo de estimulación (101) para la administración de un tratamiento de estimulación con corriente eléctrica continua, en el cual el al menos un dispositivo de estimulación está conectado a los dos electrodos (109, 110) y está conectado al dispositivo de control (100) a través de un canal de comunicación no segura (108), estando configurado el al menos un dispositivo de estimulación para recibir la prescripción desde el dispositivo de control únicamente tras haber recibido desde el dispositivo de control (100) un resultado positivo (107) de la verificación de las credenciales (106). caracterizado porque el al menos un dispositivo de estimulación puede ser activado por el sujeto humano para el suministro de tratamiento de estimulación únicamente de acuerdo con las modalidades definidas en la prescripción, y porque el al menos un dispositivo de estimulación no puede ser activado por el sujeto humano para un nuevo suministro de tratamiento de estimulación antes de que se haya alcanzado el número finito de estimulaciones programadas para el tratamiento de estimulación con corriente y se haya fijado una nueva prescripción positiva, o hasta que haya transcurrido completamente el intervalo de tiempo mínimo entre dos tratamientos de estimulación consecutivos, evitando así que el sujeto humano efectúe tratamientos de estimulación no programados.
