Abstract

Cartucho quebrantador de roca cargado de pólvora (1) que comprende un casquillo externo sustancialmente cilíndrico (2) con una pared de extremo en un primer extremo (3); un tapón (4) que, encerrando dicho casquillo externo, se inserta y asegura en un segundo extremo opuesto del casquillo externo; una cámara principal (5) en el casquillo externo (2) entre dicha pared de extremo y dicho tapón, cámara principal que se llena de una carga de pólvora para voladura (6); un casquillo interno sustancialmente cilíndrico (7), que es coaxial con el casquillo externo (2), está conectado a dicho tapón, y se extiende dentro de la carga de pólvora para voladura en la cámara principal; un orificio pasante central (8) en dicho tapón el cual comunica con el casquillo interno, el cual está cerrado por su extremo interno, el cual es insertado dentro de la carga de pólvora para voladura; y un detonador (10) por medio del cual el orificio en el tapón y el casquillo interno en combinación forman una cámara de cebado (9) que tiene una forma que corresponde a la forma externa del detonador (10), el cual puede ser activado eléctricamente y comprende una carga de pólvora de encendido, y por medio del cual el casquillo interno tiene una pared interna (13) que consiste en un material plástico, seleccionándose el grosor de la pared de plástico y el material plástico de manera que la pared de plástico sea penetrada en menos de 25 ms (milisegundos) por la presión y la llama de fuego que se forman cuando se enciende el detonador, encendiendo así la carga de pólvora para voladura.
