Inhibidores de la ureasa capaces de disminuir el contenido de nitratos en hortalizas.#La presente invención describe el uso de al menos un inhibidor de la ureasa para la disminución de la concentración de nitratos en especies hortícolas cultivables. Los inhibidores de la ureasa pueden aplicarse a dichos cultivos, bien vía foliar o sobre el suelo de los mismos, cuando los cultivos ya están desarrollados y próximos a su recolección en estadio fenológico 45 ó superior de acuerdo con la escala BBCH. El inhibidor de la ureasa preferido utilizado en la presente invención es el N-(n-butil) tiofósforo triamida (NBPT), siendo preferida su forma oxidada.Urease inhibitors capable of decreasing nitrate content in vegetables. # The present invention describes the use of at least one urease inhibitor for decreasing the concentration of nitrates in cultivable horticultural species. Urease inhibitors can be applied to such cultures, either via foliar or on the soil thereof, when the cultures are already developed and close to their collection in phenological stage 45 or higher according to the BBCH scale. The preferred urease inhibitor used in the present invention is N- (n-butyl) thiophosphorus triamide (NBPT), its oxidized form being preferred.
