Abstract
Procedimiento para la compensación de atenuación local en pantallas retroiluminadas de LED, utilizando rasgos prominentes, que comprende las etapas de: - Cálculo de valores de mando de LED de acuerdo con las intensidades regionales correspondientes de una imagen, - División de dicha imagen en ventanas de determinados tamaños y calcular los valores medios de intensidad de cada una de dichas ventanas, - Extracción de un mapa de prominencia de dicha imagen que consta de las prominencias de los píxeles de la imagen, en la que la prominencia de un píxel se basa en la desviación, en términos de intensidad, del píxel respecto de píxeles circundantes y se calcula utilizando dichos valores medios de intensidad de dichas ventanas, - Cálculo de un histograma de dicho mapa de prominencia para cada región de LED localmente controlable y un nivel de prominencia la región de LED localmente controlable mediante la realización de una suma ponderada de los valores de histograma calculados de acuerdo con los pesos de una función de ponderación, - Intensificar los valores de mando de LED calculados de acuerdo con los niveles de prominencia calculados de las correspondientes regiones de LED controlables localmente
