Dispositivo (10) para cortar en forma de espiral frutas y verduras duras, tales como manzanas, rábanos, zanahorias, nabos, pepinos, con un dispositivo de corte (24) fijado dentro de una carcasa y con un dispositivo de fijación y de accionamiento (16) accionable a mano, dispuesto por encima del dispositivo de corte (24), para el producto a cortar, en el que la carcasa (11) está realizada en forma de copa y presenta una tapa (12) que está dispuesta sobre la misma y en la que está soportado el dispositivo de fijación y de accionamiento (16), y la tapa (12) está provista de un asa (14) dispuesta en la periferia de la tapa, caracterizado porque el asa (14) de la tapa (12) en el estado de cierre / de servicio se sumerge en un dispositivo de centraje (15) dispuesto en la copa de carcasa (11), de tal forma que en el estado de servicio el asa (14) dispuesta en la tapa (12) asienta firmemente sobre la copa de carcasa (11).
