Abstract

Un método de producción de Tilosina o Desmicosina, que comprende el cultivo de una cepa de "Streptomyces fradias" productora de Tilosina en un medio de cultivo que contenga fuentes asimilables de carbono, nitrógeno y sales inorgánicas, en condiciones aerobias sumergidas hasta que se produzca una cantidad sustancial de Tilosina por dicho organismo en el citado medio de cultivo y, se se desea, hidrolizar con ácido para formar Desmicosina.
