Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un procedimiento de obtención de betún espumado, sin adición de agua, empleando yeso o fosfoyeso que liberan el agua de hidratación en presencia de un agente activador. La espumación puede realizarse in situ, mezclando los componentes anteriores en el medio bituminoso a temperatura alta o intermedia. Otro aspecto de la invención se refiere a un procedimiento de recubrimiento de áridos donde el yeso/fosfoyeso se añade conjuntamente con el árido mineral al que se adiciona betún con el agente activador. En ambos casos, el ligante resultante es un betún modificado que presenta un comportamiento mejorado tanto a altas como a bajas temperaturas de servicio.
