Abstract
Proceso integrado de obtención de alcoholes monoinsaturados, biodiesel y productos biodegradables a partir de aceite de jojoba.#Se transesterifica aceite de jojoba en presencia de alcoholes de bajo y medio peso molecular empleando catalizadores enzimáticos, heterogéneos u homogéneos. El producto de reacción se somete a varias etapas de cristalización en un sistema de disolventes orgánicos puros o mezcla disolvente polar/apolar.#El proceso permite la obtención de diferentes mezclas de alcoholes grasos insaturados de alta pureza en forma de líquido oleoso útil para la administración transdérmica de agentes farmacológicos. Como producto secundario se obtienen ésteres monoalquilicos que pueden utilizarse como biodiesel o como productos biodegradables.Integrated process for obtaining monounsaturated alcohols, biodiesel and biodegradable products from jojoba oil. # Jojoba oil is transesterified in the presence of low and medium molecular weight alcohols using enzymatic, heterogeneous or homogeneous catalysts. The reaction product is subjected to several crystallization steps in a system of pure organic solvents or polar / apolar solvent mixture. # The process allows obtaining different mixtures of unsaturated fatty alcohols of high purity in the form of an oily liquid useful for administration transdermal pharmacological agents. As a secondary product, monoalkyl esters are obtained which can be used as biodiesel or as biodegradable products.
