Abstract

Válvula (100) de bola criogénica guiada, para la apertura o cierre del paso de un fluido por unos conductos de entrada/salida (103, 104), que comprende al menos un anillo de asiento (114) flotante que cierra estancamente contra la bola (107) por efecto de la presión del fluido en el conducto de entrada/salida (103, 104) sin necesidad de apretar el anillo de asiento (114) contra la bola (107) por medio de tuercas u otros elementos mecánicos que elevan el par de maniobra de la válvula (100) indeseadamente. La válvula (100) puede comprender además un sistema de alivio de sobrepresiones internas en el cual la sobrepresión interna provoca una ligera separación temporal del anillo de asiento respecto a la bola, hasta que la presión interna se iguala con la presión del conducto de entrada/salida y el anillo de asiento vuelve a cerrarse automáticamente contra la bola.
