Abstract

The invention relates to a gear pump having a sealed casing (100, 200) including a pump body (126) and a cover (156), comprising: a cavity in fluid communication with a suction area (140) and a discharge area (152) an inner gear wheel (102) provided with a number Z-1 of outer teeth and housed in the aforementioned cavity such that it can rotate about a first axis of rotation (Ei) an outer gear wheel (104) provided with a number Z of inner teeth, housed in the cavity such that it can rotate about a second axis of rotation (Ee) parallel to the first axis of rotation (Ei), and meshed with the inner gear wheel (102) and first and second inner electromagnetic assemblies that actuate the rotation of the inner and outer gear wheels (102, 104) respectively, in which said first and second inner electro-magnetic assemblies can be controlled independently by control means.
