Abstract

Recovery of biobutanol from fermentation broths. The concentration of butanol in the fermentation broths is low, which makes it very expensive to energetically recover them using classical techniques. In the present invention a method of low energy consumption for the recovery of butanol is described. This method consists of an adsorption-desorption process using as adsorbent a polymeric resin.
