Abstract

In order to be easily manufactured and assembled, a closure assembly comprising a tubular outlet member 1 and a cap 5 relatively rotatable to bring an aperture in the cap into or out of alignment with an aperture 4 in member 1 has an interengaging lug 10 and groove 11 arrangement, the groove comprising a longitudinal entry channel 18 to admit the lug and a peripherally extending locking channel 12 provided with formations 16 and 17 which act as a catch for the lug. If the assembly is of metal, the catch may be a suitably positioned leaf spring.
