Consiste en una plataforma flotante situada en el mar o en un lago donde exista cierta profundidad para almacenar la energía eléctrica proveniente de un elemento generador de energía eléctrica o de una red eléctrica de distribución, en forma de energía potencial mediante la elevación de uno o varios elementos de peso, desde el fondo hasta la plataforma flotante, por medio de un motor eléctrico para luego ser convertida posteriormente, con el descenso del elemento de peso, en energía eléctrica por medio de un generador eléctrico e inyectarla a una red de distribución eléctrica.System of storage, generation and regulation of high capacity electric energy on floating platform taking advantage of the depth in seas and lakes.
