Abstract

El dispositivo controlador del consumo de energía eléctrica para lámparas de descarga sin electrodos, se caracteriza porque constituye un módulo independiente interconectado entre el balasto electrónico y dicha lámpara y comprende un controlador, varios interruptores y un transformador o autotransformador regulable.#La descripción de dichos componentes es la siguiente:#a) Unidad de control, la cual es un micro controlador programable, configurado para la coordinación de los componentes siguientes: sensor de tensión, sensor de corriente, fuente de alimentación estabilizada e interface con periféricos.#b) Varios interruptores que determinan la impedancia vista por el balasto electrónico según el borne seleccionado del transformador.#c) Un transformador, o autotransformador con relación de transformación variable.#d) Uno o más controles por cierre de contactos libres de tensión.#e) Un selector del modo de funcionamiento del dispositivo, mediante control por cabecera, cierre de contactos o controlado por un bus de comunicaciones cableado o por control remoto.#Se utiliza para controlar el flujo luminoso de una lámpara de descarga sin electrodos en una instalación de alumbrado público o privado y su consumo de energía eléctrica.
