Abstract
Dispositivo para aprovechar la energía de las mareas. Permite transformar la energía potencial debida a las mareas en energía mecánica y electricidad. Comprende un cilindro (1) vertical fijado al fondo marino (2), dotado de una cámara inferior (5) y una cámara superior (6) separadas por un pistón (8) conectado a una plataforma flotante (12) dispuesta sobre y en contacto con el nivel del mar (13). Las mareas provocan en la plataforma flotante (12) movimientos verticales ascendentes y descendentes alternados, que son transmitidos al pistón (8), para comprimir un fluido (7) en la cámara superior (6) o en la cámara inferior (5), que es transportado hacia un tanque (17) de presión, para alimentar un motor (19) y obtener potencia mecánica, dicho motor está conectado a un generador (25) para obtener electricidad. El fluido (7) es finalmente devuelto a la cámara superior (6) o, en su caso, a la cámara inferior (5).Device to harness the energy of the tides. The fluid (7) is finally returned to the upper chamber (6) or, where appropriate, to the lower chamber (5).
