Abstract
Aguja para biopsia pleural, que siendo de especial aplicación en diagnosis de enfermedades pleurales con derrame, esencialmente se caracteriza por estar constituida por un cuerpo portador tubular de forma predominantemente curvilínea, que internamente lleva alojado un mandril punzante, de manera tal que una vez todo el conjunto introducido en el lugar apropiado del cuerpo humano, se retira dicho mandril y se introduce seguidamente en el interior del cuerpo portador un útil flexible dotado en su extremo libre de una pinza o de un cepillo de cerdas apropiadas, habiéndose previsto que la punta del mandril sea o bien cónica o bien piramidal triangular, e igualmente se ha previsto la posibilidad de que sea el propio cuerpo cortador el punzante, disponiendo para tal fin su extremo biselado y muy puntiagudo.
