Description

LOWER SUPPORT FOR WALL FURNITURE FIELD OF THE INVENTION

This invention concerns a lower support for the cantilever wall furniture, both for those who have the bottom panel flush with the side panels, and for those who have a recess in the bottom panel, and especially applicable for fixing and union of continuous furniture units attached to the wall, which have different measures of tucking in their respective bottom panels.

STATE OF THE PREVIOUS TECHNIQUE

In this field, fixing brackets are known, consisting of a base on which the cantilever furniture rests. This support base can be moved both vertically and in depth through different regulation systems. The vertical adjustment allows the horizontal furniture to be placed when the presentation is made on a wall in a cantilever position, while the depth adjustment establishes a series of relative positions between the wall and the side and base panel of the furniture

These supports are indicated for kitchen and bathroom furniture, in which the bottom panel is remarkably tucked (tucked in respect to the side surface of the furniture), taking advantage of this distance from the wall for the passage of possible pipes, electrical wiring or to absorb irregularities of the wall such as plumbing elements, unevenness ... etc. The main problem of these supports is the distance of remission that they need for the installation of said support at the back of the furniture, that is, they are not suitable for fixing furniture that has the bottom panel flush with the side panels as usual happen in some kitchen or living room furniture.

Nowadays it is very common to combine different furniture modules in a room, each of them with completely different dimensions and characteristics. The existing supports in the market are not able to properly adjust the furniture with each other, since there are always final mismatches between the side panels or between the bottom panels of each piece of furniture, giving an aesthetic image.

EXPLANATION OF THE INVENTION AND ADVANTAGES

Faced with this state of affairs, the present invention refers to a lower support for wall furniture, of the supports that have a vertically adjustable and depth adjustable support base, base on which the furniture is supported in cantilever, and that it consists in that solidarity with the anchor plate there is a guide piece that incorporates slide and rack guides, which are respectively complementary to some vertical guides of the main carriage, where there is a transverse pinion with complementary teeth of the one of the guide piece and of the auger of the auger, installed perpendicularly in said main carriage and with a front head accessible frontally.

Thanks to this configuration, a mechanism of very small dimensions is achieved, comparing with the existing supports in the market, which ensures that the distance between the wall and the bottom panel of the furniture is minimal, of the order of about 3 mm. These distances are very important in the case of living room kitchen furniture, rooms, etc., which must be well adjusted to the wall so that no separations or unsightly mismatches can be seen.

On the other hand, the vertical adjustment of the cantilever furniture is achieved by turning in one direction or another, by means of a rotating tool, the front head of the auger that is accessible from the front of the furniture. This turn is transmitted to a transverse pinion that is complementary to the rack teeth of the guide piece. In this way the circular movement is transformed into a vertical movement of the main carriage in which the base panels, side panels and / or furniture bottom panels are attached.

It is noteworthy, that it is not necessary to perform any type of machining on the bottom panel of the furniture to perform the mounting of the lower support, since it rests on it and access to both the mentioned vertical regulation and the depth regulation is It can be made from the bottom of the furniture, for this the front screw head and the depth regulating screw head are equipped with a notch for the tip of a rotating tool. There is the possibility of incorporating a cover cap on the area of regulation of the lower support, in the case of being visible from the front of the furniture.

This constitution provides numerous advantages such as; the effectiveness of the lower support in the regulation of furniture of different sizes and weights. By means of the zipper that incorporates the guide piece that is the one that allows the vertical regulation, the usual clearances that are given in the traditional supports for furniture are avoided, getting a very precise adjustment. The lower support has a shape that resembles an "L", which allows easy and quick installation of the wall, and helps support the bottom and base panels of the furniture.

Another feature of the invention is that in the main carriage there is a depth adjustment element that has two vertical rear walls. Said vertical rear walls are provided with coupling holes that allow the insertion of distance stops.

Depending on the characteristics of the furniture to be installed, the use of distance stops of different lengths corresponding to the different distances of the bottom panels of the furniture to be installed is provided in the depth adjustment element.

One of the purposes of the distance stops is that in the continuous assembled furniture assemblies, these stops establish a bracketing between the side panels given the distance of the rear panel, so that one piece of furniture does not separate from the other. This function is also applicable for furniture that have different dimensions of remission, by coupling different spacer stops on each side according to the rear configuration of each furniture unit. In addition, the same lower support can be combined for two attached furniture units. It should be noted that this function of holding two furniture at the same time with the same support, can be performed without the spacers.

Another purpose of the stops is as a distance function of the furniture with respect to the wall, in this way the furniture can be adjusted to the inclination determined by the upper hanger of the furniture, in cases where there is inclination in the installation wall or protrusions in the same.

These and other features of the invention will be revealed in the detailed explanation that follows, supported by the attached graphic representation.

DRAWINGS AND REFERENCES

To better understand the nature of the invention, the attached drawings show an industrial embodiment that is merely illustrative and not limiting in nature.

Figure 1 is a perspective of a wall area with the lower support (1) of the invention, in which the final mounting position of the base (19), side (20) and bottom (21) panels is shown. of the cantilever furniture (17) in which access to the lower support (1) is seen from the bottom of the furniture (17). Figure 1 also illustrates an exploded view of the lower support.

Figure 2 is a rear perspective view of several cantilevered furniture (17) attached by the lower support (1). This figure shows an enlarged detail of the lower support (1) with the distance stops (16), which allow adjustment to the rear configuration of the furniture (17) and establish a bracketing between the side panels (20) of furniture ( 17) continuous townhouses.

Figure 3 is a front view of several cantilevered furniture (17) attached by the lower support (1). In the enlarged detail it can be seen how the side panels (20) of the different furniture (17) are perfectly attached, and the ease of access to the front head (7a) of the auger (7) and the head (15a) of the depth regulating screw (15) below the furniture (17).

EXHIBITION OF A PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

With regard to the drawings and references listed above, a preferred embodiment of the object of the invention, referring to a lower support (1) for furniture (17) on wall (18), of the supports that are illustrated in the attached drawings they have a vertically adjustable and depth adjustable support base, base on which the furniture is supported in cantilever (17).

The object of the invention is illustrated in Figure 1, which is consistent with the anchoring plate (3) a guide piece (2) incorporating sliding guides (2a) and rack (2b), which are respectively complementary to some vertical guides

(9) of the main carriage (4), where there is a transverse pinion (5) with complementary toothing of the rack (2b) of the guide piece (2) and of the toothing of the auger (7), installed perpendicularly in said carriage main (4) and with the front head (7a) accessible frontally.

The constructive and assembly simplicity is verified by observing the exploded view of figure 1, where it is appreciated that the lower support (1) is constituted by simple and rapid assembly operations of its parts, without the use of other means of mooring, which facilitates and makes manufacturing cheaper. This configuration results in a lower support (1) of relatively small dimensions, compared to other existing supports in the market, which makes the distance between the wall and the bottom panel (23) of the furniture (17) minimal, of order of about 3 mm. The lower support (1) has a shape that resembles an “L”, which allows an easy and quick installation of the wall (18), favoring the support of the bottom (21) and base (19) panels of furniture (17).

The vertical adjustment (figure 3) of the cantilever furniture (17) is achieved by turning in one direction or another, by means of a rotating tool (22) the front head (7a) of the auger (7) that is accessible from the furniture front (17). As can be seen in the sections represented in figures 5 and 7, this turn is transmitted to a transverse pinion (5) which is complementary to the rack teeth (2b) of the guide piece (2). In this way the circular movement is transformed into a vertical movement of the main carriage (4) in which the base panels (19), side panels (20) and / or bottom panels (21) of the furniture (17) are attached .

It should be mentioned, as shown in Figure 2, that it is not necessary to perform any type of machining on the bottom panel (21) of the furniture (17) to mount the lower support (1), as it is supported on it and the access to the mentioned vertical regulation as well as to the depth regulation can be easily done by the lower part of the furniture (17), for this the front head (7a) of auger

(7) and the depth regulating screw head (15a) (15) are provided with a notch for the tip of a rotating tool (22).

Another feature of the invention, which can be seen in Figure 6, is that the rack (2b) has a central groove (2c) centrally capable of accommodating the rear end of the auger (7). The central groove (2c) performs a guiding function in the vertical sliding of the main carriage (4) through the guide piece (2), and as a stop function at the rear end of the auger (7).

Another important feature of the invention (Figures 4 and 7) is that in the main carriage (4) there is a depth adjustment element (12) that has two vertical rear walls (13), which are provided with coupling holes. (13a) that allow the insertion of distance stops (16).

Depending on the characteristics and dimensions of the furniture (17) that are to be installed, the use of spacer stops (16) of different lengths corresponding to different distances of remission of the bottom panel (12) is provided in the depth adjustment element (12). 21) of the corresponding furniture (17).

As can be seen in Figure 2 and 3, one of the ends of the distance stops (16) is that in continuous furniture assemblies (17) attached, said stops (16) establish a bracketing between the side panels (20) guaranteeing so a piece of furniture

This mooring function by combining the same lower support (1) for two furniture units (17), can be carried out without the distance stops (16). Obviously, said lower support can be used for a single piece of furniture (17) when necessary.

Another end of the stops (16) is as a distance function of the furniture (17) with respect to the wall (18), in this way the furniture (17) can be adjusted to the inclination determined by the upper hanger device of the furniture (17) , in cases where there is inclination in the wall (18) of installation or protuberances in it.

Variations in materials, shape, size and arrangement of the component elements, described in a non-limiting manner, do not alter the essentiality of this invention, it being sufficient to proceed to its reproduction by an expert.
