Food hygiene is defined as the set of measures and conditions necessary to control hazards and ensure the fitness for human consumption of a food product.

At present there is a community regulation known as the "hygiene package" that reinforces the legislation related to the hygiene of food products and veterinary matters. It is basically composed of the following regulations: -Regulation 852/2004 / EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 29, 2004 regarding the hygiene of food products. This hygiene package is based on the principles established by Regulation 178/2002 on food safety. Chapter 11 of Regulation 852/2004 establishes the obligations of food business operators, ensuring that all stages for which they are responsible, from primary production to the final consumer, are carried out hygienically in accordance with the general requirements of this Regulation.

The current and usual way of moving parts from the vehicle to the destination is usually on the shoulder, as already mentioned.
