Abstract

The protection system is articulated with three protective curtain modules covering, each of them, the bottom panels and the sides of the elevator car (figure 1, references 1, 2 and 3), adapting to the internal surface of the

The protection system is intended for all types of lift for both people and cargo.

Generally the elevators have dimensions that allow the transport of a load that varies between 250 kg and 1,600 kg, which would be equivalent to a capacity of between 3 and 21 people. The protection system is manufactured according to the appropriate dimensions for each elevator model.

The protection system of the present invention guarantees compliance with the Complementary Technical Instruction MIE-AEM-1, which establishes a minimum height of the elevator car of 2,000 mm (section 8.1.1 of the Order of September 23, 1987, BOE n ° 239, of 6110/1987).

Likewise, the protection system respects the revised text of the Regulation of the Lifting Devices, approved by Order of June 30, 1966 (BOE n ° 177 of 26nl1966), in force, according to R.D. 2291/1985, as long as there is no ITC to replace it, which establishes the minimum dimensions of the input width and floor area (articles 48 and 57).

Protection system according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the system is assembled and disassembled depending on the intended use of the cabin. 3.-Protection system according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the protective curtains are hung on the bottom wall and side walls of the cabin. 4.-Protection system according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the curtain is hung to the bottom and side walls of the cabin at ceiling height by means of a fastening system. 5. Protection system according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the system adapts to the particular configuration of the elevator car. 6. Protection system according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the protective curtain is composed of three overlapping and basted layers with a maximum final thickness of 20 millimeters. The outer layers are made of artificial synthetic fabric of the polyamide type with fire retardant treatment and, among them, a layer of polyurethane foam. 7.-Protection system according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the bottom and side walls of the elevator have a fixed fastening system consisting of riveted aluminum pins near the roof of the elevator and having a half recess that receives the equidistant washers inserted in the upper area of the protective curtains.
8.-Protection system according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the system is valid for application both for elevators 5 dedicated to the transport of people and cargo.
