Abstract

The present invention relates to a device to obtain positional control. This device is applicable to a support movable on a platform and is characterised in that the support has an angular constitution with the lower horizontal section which moves guided on the platform and which has, on its lower part, a protrusion which selectively fits into aligned openings provided in the platform, the indicated horizontal section comprising two pins, a front pin and another rear pin, having play in respective slots of the guide, the rear pin being coupled in a vertical slot provided in said horizontal section of the support.

Description

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

Device to obtain positional control. FIELD OF THE INVENTION

This device is preferably applicable in sports equipment and is intended to favor the departure to athletes mainly in speed races either athletics or swimming. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Devices for the indicated purpose have been known for years, which include supports, for the support of the athlete's or swimmer's feet that are coupled in different positions on a platform. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The object of this invention is a device to obtain a positional control of simple constitution, which the user can easily manipulate and which also has an aesthetic finish, being applicable to a folding support on a platform.

This support has an angular constitution with a horizontal lower section that moves guided on the platform and that internally has a projection that fits selectively in aligned openings provided on the platform, the indicated horizontal section comprising two pins, one front and one rear, which they play in individual slits of the guide, the rear pin being coupled in a vertical slit provided in said horizontal section of the support.

The support and the guide are covered with a fairing that has a slit in its upper face through which the oblique upper section of the support protrudes.

These and other characteristics will be better derived from the detailed description that follows, to facilitate which is accompanied by two sheets of drawings in which a practical case of embodiment has been represented that is cited only by way of non-limiting example of the scope of the present invention DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

Figures 5 and 6 show perspective and exploded perspective, the complete platform of the podium. DESCRIPTION OF A PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

According to the drawings, the device for obtaining a positional control is applied to a support (1) that has an angular constitution, with a horizontal lower section (2) that moves guided on a platform (3), and that inferiorly presents a projection (4) that selectively fits in aligned openings (5) provided on the platform (3).

The indicated horizontal section (2) of the support comprises two pins, one front (6) and one rear (7), which play in individual slits (8 and 9) of the guide (10), the rear pin (7) being coupled in a vertical slit

(11) provided on said horizontal section (2) of the support.

Said horizontal section and the guide (10) are covered with a fairing (12) which has a slit (13) on its upper face through which the oblique upper section (14) of the support protrudes.

The supports are two (1 and 1 ’) and are arranged one on each side of the platform (3) and between its oblique upper sections (14) a plate (15) is coupled.

The plate (15) and the platform (3) will comprise on them the coupling of plates (16 and 17) of non-slip plastic material.

The podium will be completed with a base on which the platform (3) and the corresponding handles not shown will be fixed.

5 To change the position of the supports (1), the plate (15) will be lifted by raising it according to the arrow (F) of figure 2, so that the projection (4) leaves the opening (5) leaving the supports (1) free to move, according to arrow F 'through the platform (3) guided by the guides (10).

When the chosen position is obtained, the plate (15) will be dropped, which will be locked in position by fitting the projection (4) into the corresponding opening (5).

10 Described sufficiently the present invention in correspondence with the attached figures, it is easy to understand that any modifications of detail that are deemed convenient may be introduced therein as long as modifications of details that alter the essence of the invention that are summarized in The following claims.

Device to obtain a positional control, applicable to a folding support on a platform characterized in that the support has an angular constitution with a horizontal lower section that moves guided on the platform and that inferiorly presents a projection that fits selectively in aligned openings 5 provided on the platform, the indicated horizontal section comprising two pins, one front and one rear, which play in individual slits of the guide, the rear pin being coupled in a vertical slit provided in said horizontal section of the support. 2. Device for obtaining positional control according to claim 1, characterized in that the section horizontal of the support and the guide are covered with a fairing that presents in its upper face a slit through which the oblique upper section of the support protrudes. 3. Device for obtaining positional control, according to claim 1, characterized in that the supports are two and are arranged on each side of the platform, and a plate is attached between its oblique upper sections. The object of the invention is a device for obtaining positional control. To carry out this document, it has been considered that the positional control consists of a movable support on a platform, instead of being applied to a support. Document D01 (column 2 lines 1 to 26 and figures 1 to 3), as well as documents D02 (summary and figure 4), D03 (summary and figure 4) and D04 (summary and figures), by the same author, can be Consider the closest state of the art. In the first one a support (24) is disclosed that has a rectangular configuration with a horizontal section that moves guided on the platform and a projection (28) that selectively fits in aligned openings provided in the platform, the indicated horizontal section comprising a pin that plays in the slit of the guide. It is not included identically in the prior art and is therefore new (Art. 6.1 LP 11/1986). It differs from the request in that the projection is not at the bottom, if not at the top and that it has a continuous pin, instead of two pins.
