Abstract

El dispositivo fotovoltaico tiene una pluralidad de capas (11, 12, 13) configuradas para convertir luz (L) en energía eléctrica. Cada capa comprende al menos una célula solar (11A; 12A, 12B; 13A, 13B, 13C, 13D) Cada capa está configurada de manera que presenta una banda prohibida con una anchura predeterminada, siendo la anchura de la banda prohibida de cada capa diferente de la anchura de la banda prohibida de las otras capas. Al menos una de las capas (12, 13) comprende al menos dos células solares (12A, 12B; 13A, 13B, 13C, 13D) conectadas en serie y que tienen bandas prohibidas con la misma anchura. Las capas están conectadas entre sí en paralelo, de manera que la tensión (U) sobre cada capa (11, 12, 13) es la misma.#La invención también se refiere a un panel fotovoltaico.
