State of the art

The applicant is unaware of the existence of an invention that has similar characteristics to those described herein.

Currently, if the operator wants to know what is the collection or status of a certain machine, he must move to the place where it is installed to check the situation.

Generally, when failures occur in the machine, it is the customer who has to report to the operator who is responsible for maintenance, this is an inefficient management.

The monitoring systems available to some recreational machines are face-to-face, or at most, use Bluetooth technology that despite being a wireless technology, the range does not allow a real remote control. Other systems that may be implemented as telephone line modems are not effective because of the amount of requirements and costs they need.

Recreational machines do not have alarm systems that can warn of a possible scuffling of the lock or an assault by brute force or vandalism.

Detailed description of the invention

The comprehensive recreational machine control system via GSM or GPRS consists of:

A terminal that connects to the machine through an RS-232, I2C, SPI or USB data bus that stores the data in an internal memory and reports it via GSM or GPRS to a base phone or a PC using another device equal to the previous. The system can work in three ways:

Description of a preferred embodiment

For the preparation of the terminal, a GSM GPRS mobile terminal with Java language programming capability is mounted. 1. Integral system of control of recreational machines via GSM or GPRS, used to maintain a remote control of the different parameters generated by the recreational machines, characterized in that it comprises:

One or several programmable terminals intended to be installed in recreational machines, which are connected to the machine through an RS232 port, to detect: operating alarms, status monitoring, collections and service outlets, it has internal memory to store events and data , digital inputs to detect the opening of purse doors and the machine's on time, motion sensor to detect vandalism, real time clock for the event log, internal rechargeable battery to operate with the machine turned off, circuitry needed to take the power of the machine and recharge the battery, a connection with the coin and bill selector, a connection with the electromechanical counters, two LED lights to code the state of the programmable terminal, a modem to report the data via GSM or GPRS to another programmable terminal connected via RS232 or USB to a PC, said PC is in the office where the machines are tracked and the data sent by the terminals is received.
